Rita

Hands full of wonderful 💕

Rita is still here looking for her forever home.

Rita has extreme NSHP, which is Nutritional Secondary Hyperparathyroidism. This is the most common form of MBD, caused by years of neglect and improper care.
Her skeletal structure has not grown properly and her joints are bowed. So Rita is a somewhat smaller then what a full female tegu would be! She’s like a little compact lizard.
But none of that stops miss Rita.
She lives a completely normal tegu life and is healthy and so ready for a home to adore her like we do 🥰
